Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a pleasant walk through the diverse forest with flora and fauna and wildlife along with the ethnically diversified villages. It is an exploration of both culture and nature. It is an easy walking that merges hiking through the various ethnic group’s culture and variety of forest, where wildlife are playing on the lap of the splendid Himalayan Range. It is an adventurous journey to the south of the world’s 10th highest mountain Annapurna. It is an opportunity to explore lofty mountains like Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri and other peaks of Annapurna Range from valley surrounded by these Himalayas. It offers the chance to watch the sunrise over these mountains from Poon Hill- view point of Annapurna.

Like other Annapurna Region Trekking, the trail of this trekking starts from Nayapul, around 100km north from Lake City of Pokhara. Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is rich and diverse experience of mountain scenery, cultural diversity, ethnological and natural diversity.From Nayapul the trail follows the Modhi Khola and ascends the hill through ever green Rhododendron dense forests to Ghorepani Poon Hill. In Ghorepani Poon Hill you have the eye-catching view of sun rise and sunset over the Himalayas like Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri etc. You pass through valleys, villages, rivers, waterfalls, forests, and enjoy the magnificence view of the nature. The trail takes you through delightful traditional villages of Gurung, Magar, and Thakali like Tadapan, Chhomrong, Ghandruk etc. whose warm welcome and hospitality behavior is an unforgettable experience. The trek ends at a valley surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. This trek is a real journey into an uninhabited area.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310 m) and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive or fly Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m).
Day 03: Pokhara- Nayapul- Tirkhedhunga (1560m) 5/6 hours.
Day 04: Trek from Tirkhedhunga toGhorepani (2850 m.) 5/6 hours of walk.
Day 05: Ghreopani-Poon Hill- Tadapani to Chuile.
Day 06: Chuile to Sinuwa 5/6 hours of walk.
Day 07: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali 5/6 hours of walk.
Day 08: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m.) 3/4 hours of walk.
Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2335 m.)5/6 hours of walk.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinudanda (1610m) 4/5 hours of walk.
Day 11: Jhinudanda to Dhampus or Pothana .
Day 12: Dhampus to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara. And Pokhara Sightseeing.
Day 13: Drive or fly Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 14: Departure to your own destination.
