Ganesh Himal (Ruby Valley) Camping Trek

The Ganesh Himal Region lies in the districts of Gorkha, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading which carry historical importance within them.  Ganesh Himal (Ruby Valley)Camping Trek  is one of the popular trekking destinations of Nepal with magnificent views of several towering snowy peaks and valleys. This area lies within two popular destinations of Langtang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area Project.

The most significant view includes Ganga Jamuna-twin waterfalls--Kalo-Seto and Tripurasundari temple.  Beside this magnificent views Ganesh Himal (Ruby Valley) Trek  is famous for its Tamang culture and beautiful isolated landscape. Ruby Valley(Kalo- Seto Kunda) Camping Trail  goes through two main Tamang villages: Tangjet and Gatlang. In these villages you will get chance to observe Tamang festivals and way of their life. Moreover, you will get opportunity to be familiar with Tamang culture by staying with them at their home.  Ruby Valley( Kalo- Seto Kunda) Camping Trek  begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and the trail passes through awesome valley, settlement of Tamang ethnic community and reach all around Sangjung Kharka, alongside of Khola Kharka, from where you will see Ganesh Himal I (7,429m.), Ganesh Himal II (7,118m.), Ganesh III(7110m.), Ganesh IV(7,052m.), Ganesh V(6,986m.), Ganesh VII(6,350m.), Langtang Lirung (7,300m.), Manaslu (8163m.), Lamjung Himal (6800m.) ranges and many more. And the trek pass through Paldor Peak retrace back to Dhading or Gorkha where your trekking ends and finally return back to Kathmandu. There are 10 separate trekking itineraries recommended for this trek. So you can choose among these 10 trekking itineraries for your unforgettable adventure. Day 01: Kathmandu- Shyabrubesi (8-9 hrs drive)

Day 02: Shyabrubesi- Chawatar- Gatlang (1 hr drive, 5-6 hrs hike)

Day 03: Gatlang- Parvati Kunda- Yuri Kharka- Somdang 3271m (6-7 hrs trek)

Day 04: Somdang- Pangsang Pass 3842m (3 ½ hrs)

Day 05: Pangsang Pass- Tipling- Shertung- Chalish 1875m (5-6 hrs trek)

Day 06: Chalish- Hindung (Gomba Danda) 2402m (4-5 hrs trek)

Day 07: Hindung- Thulo Dhunga 3337m (4-5 hrs trek)

Day 08:Thulo Dhunga- Base camp (Nojet Kharka) 3691m (6hrs)

Day 09: Exploration Day/ viewpoint

Day 10: Return from Base Camp to Hindung (7-8 hrs)

Day 11: Hindung-hot springs- Racyat Gaon/ kapur Gaon 1500m (5-6 hrs)

Day 12: Rachyat/ kapur Gaon-Lapa-Khading Gaon 2025m (4-5 hrs)

Day 13: Khading gaon to Mangne Goth 2950m (4 hrs)

Day 14: Magne Goth- lapu Danda 1250m(5-6 hrs)

Day 15: Lapu Danda- Ganga Jamuna 950m (5-6 hrs)

Day 16: Ganga Jamuna- TripuraSundari 850m (5-6 hrs
