Annapurna Base Camp Trek - 12 Days

 Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is one of the most enthralling trekking routes of Nepal that takes you to the foot of the Mt. Annapurna which is at the altitude of 4210m.The Annapurna Conservation Area or Annapurna region is one of the most popular and sought trekking destination of Nepal. This area covers most part of western development region of Nepal around Annapurna Mountain Range. It includes Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Mt. Dhaulagiri,and Machhapuchhre,and several other peaks.

Mount Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain of the world and 8th highest of Nepal which is 8091m high.  In  Annapurna Base Camp Trekking one have opportunity to romance with the nature full of beauty. This trek is moderate type of trek. As the temperature and climate is moderate, trekking can be performed throughout the year. It takes around two weeks to finish this adventure. It offers the magnificent scenery and supreme cultures of different ethnic groups including Gurung, Magar, Thakali etc. After 45 minutes drive from Pokhara, the city of lake, you will reach to Nayapul (new bridge) from where the trail of Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts. The trail passes through different villages, forest, waterfalls, etc that rejuvenate your soul. From Nayapul you start your walk on the river bank of Modhi River and then ascend uphill. The vistas of snow capped mountain with a marvelous range of flora and fauna including dazzling rhododendron forest gives you the unforgettable ecstasy. The major attractions of this trek are unique culture of Gurung community in ethnic mountain village Ghandruk, Poon Hill which offers the vistas of all the major mountains of the Annapurna Range, Mukhtinath a holy place of Hindu and Buddhist. Along with the trek to Annapurna Base Camp, you also get chance to visit the lake city Pokhara. In Fewa Lake you see the most beautiful dancing shadow of the Machhapuchhre.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1310 m) and transfer to hotel, O/N at hotel.

Day 02: Drive/flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m),25min fly 6/7 hrs Drive

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to NayaPul and trek to Ulleri (2070m), 3/4 hours of walk.

Day 04: TikheDhungha to Ghorepani (2750m), 5/6 hours of walk.

Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590m) via Poon Hill (3210m), 6/7 hours of walk.

Day 06: Trek to Sinuwa(), 5/6 hours of walk.

Day 07: Sinuwa to Deurali(3100m), 5/6 hours of walk.

Day 08: Trek  to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), 4/5 hours of walk.

Day 09: Trek back from Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa, 6/7 hours walk.

Day 10: Trek back from Sinuwa to landrung.5/6hrs walk

Day 11: Trek from Landrung to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 12: Drive/Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
