So Trekkers can do simple tea house (lodge) trek. Of course the budget trekkers can save the huge amount. Relatively, lodge trek in Manaslu is not fully well equipped like Annapurna or Everest trekking area but you can eat fresh Nepali food, green vegetable, noodle, items along the way. Finally 2 – 10 members in a group is more suit to do this Manaslu lodge to Lodge trekking without any problem.

Manaslu has unique environment and exceptionally rich bio diversity which have made this region as the finest tourist destination of Nepal for many years. The region consists of varieties of cultural diversities, natural scenery of the majestic Himalayan ranges, high altitude romantic glacier lakes and fascinating flora and fauna, all these natural and cultural features of this region have made it one of the most popular tourist destination of Nepal and is restricted area requiring special trekking permit to get entry into the region for foreigners.
This trek was forbidden to the tourists till 1991. When for the first time the Japanese Expedition team ascent the Manaslu Peak (8157m.), it became known as "Holy Mountain". Since it is still a restricted area special permit from the government of Nepal is needed. This trek begins from Gorkha or Aarughat, Trishuli Bazzar or Dhading and is usually done in an well-organized camping group too. This trek is culturally and geographically important and fascinating. The Tibetans of the upper Budi-Gandaki, the region also known as Nupri (the western mountains), and the Tsum Valley are direct descendants of Tibetan immigrants. Their speech, dress and customs are exclusively Tibetan. The trade between the area and Tibet still goes on.

Manaslu Trekking Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu- 1340M (Arrival day and Transfer to hotel) – Overnight at Tourist Hotel

 Day 02: Full Day sightseeing of Kathmandu city– Around in World heritage site (Pashupatinath Hindu Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa and Swyambhunath Stupa) - (Manaslu special permits arrangement day because we need original passport to issue the Manaslu permit. Overnight at Tourist standard Hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat (By tourist bus for 7 hours) - Overnight at Lodge.

Day 04: Arught - Lidding (860m 5 hours trek.)- Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Liding – Khorlabesi (970m 7 hours trek) - Overnight at Lodge.

Day 06: Khorlabesi- Jagat (1370m 7 -8 hours Trek) - Overnight at Lodge.

Day 07: Jagat – Philim- Deng (1860m 7 – 8 hours Trek) - Overnight at Lodge

Day 08: Deng- Bihi- Namrung (2540m 7 – 8 hours Trek) - Overnight at Lodge.

Day 09: Namrung – Lho village (3020m 5 hours Trek) – Overnight at Lodge.

Day 10: Lho – Sama Gaon (3390m 5 hours Trek) – Overnight at Lodge.

Day 11: Sama Gaon Rest Day- (day hike to Manaslu base camp for acclimatize the high altitude. We can see the best view of Manaslu from here. – Overnight at Lodge.

Day 12: Sama Gaon – Samdo (3690m 5 hours trek) – Overnight at Lodge.

Day 13: Samdo – Larke Phedi( Dharmasala) 4460m 5 hours walk- Overnight  Lodge.

Day 14: Lake Phedi – Larke Top (5210m and downhill to Bhimtang 3590m 9-10 hours walk- Overnight at Lodge.

Day 15: Bhimtang to Tilje( 2300m 7-8 hours walk- Overnight at Lodge.

Day 16: Tilje to Dharapani (Restricted area end from Dharapani Check Post) and Annapurna trek start and continuously down to Tal (1680m) – Overnight at Lodge.

Day 17: Tal to sange (1155m 7 hrs walk and by local vehicle to Bulbule- Overnight at Lodge.

Day 18: Bulbule to Kathmandu by bus for 6 hours and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 19: Airport departure.

If 3 Person in a Group= US$ 1560 per person for whole trip.

 

If 4- 5 Person in a group= US$ 1470 per person for whole trip.
