Nepal has 16 national parks, wildlife reserves and conservation areas, occupying 16 percent of its total geographical area. For those who wish to experience the natural environment at its best there is no better place to visit than Nepal. The outdoor adventure sports into the wilderness to see wild animals, birds and natural beauty. You ride on an elephant's back or on a four wheeler jeep accompanied by a fully trained guide (also known as expert Naturalists) for the love of nature and animals. In Nepal, Chitwan and Bardia are two hot dishes on the menu. Pick Chitwan as this is Nepal's most popular National Park offering excellent opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers, One horned Rhino, crocodile and thrilling wilderness experience into its deep and thick jungle. Pick Bardia also, as this is another National Park, which offers excellent jungle safari. Here too you can ride on an elephant or a take four wheel to discover some of Nepal's unspoiled natural habitats. Most jungle safari consists of canoe rides on the jungle rivers, nature walks, birds watching excursions and quick tours around the villages to discover unique culture and traditions of the local village people. There are also scheduled cultural-musical programs performed by the villages, which are also in the Jungle Safari itinerary.
Chitwan National Park is a wild life and cultural haven, unique in terms of the rare species, such as Royal Bengal tigers, deer, rhino, bear and wild boar, as well as the fascinating Tharu tribe whose lifestyle has remained unchanged for several hundred years. The Royal Chitwan National Park is a large area of low, heavily forested hills bordering India on the south.
There are crocodiles in the rivers and a wealth of birds. Several jungle camps have been created to offer the tourists comfortable accommodation, elephant-back safaris for wildlife viewing, canoeing and nature walks with highly trained naturalists. The camps are rigorously regulated to avoid environmental and habitat disturbance. They are easily reached by air or road. A 3 or 4 day trip will provide an unforgettable wildlife viewing experience.
Bardia National Park is more remote and less visited than Chitwan. It is located in the sparsely populated far western part of Nepal and is one of the largest of the country's parks. It is one of the world's most untouched natural preserves.
Royal Bardia is the second largest tiger habitat after Chitwan, and is also famous for game fishing which can yield massive 50 kg plus mashseer fish. Bardiya covers approximately 1,000 sq. kilometres. Wildlife includes Civets, Langurs, Goral Swamp Deer, Chital, Wild Boar, Leopard, Wild Elephant, and the Royal Tiger. It's also home to more than 300 species of birds, including Egrets (4 species), Kingfisher (4 species), Storks etc.
Elephant safaris are available, as well raft or dugout canoe trips down the Karnali river for aquatic wildlife viewing of species such as fresh water Dolphins, Marsh-Muggers, Otters, Turtles, Gharial etc. Bardia is also an ideal trailhead for trekking to the hills of west Nepal. The drive to Bardia takes up to 12 hrs from Kathmandu, through memorable scenic country, including stretches of the Terai. Or one can fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, the nearest town, in about 90 minutes.
Our clients often choose to continue the trip from Royal Chitwan to Lumbini, the birth place of the Buddha, an important pilgrimage site. Others proceed directly to Pokhara. Of course, we often combine both trekking/adventure expeditions with sightseeing excursions. We can arrange more excited activities like Paragliding, Bungy Jumping and Mountain Flight to Everest on your trip to Pokhara or Chitwan.
lephant Riding
Riding on the back of an Elephant is one of the best ways to explore the jungle. The tour enables you to enter into the dense forest and tall grassland to view varieties of animal species and birds. Here, you will have plenty of opportunities to photograph the animals from a close range.
Canoe Trip
Traditional log canoes or river boats will take you along the river where you will see the harmless Gharial or the more dangerous Marsh-Mugger crocodile basking in the sun at the river banks. Many aquatic birds can also be seen on the way.
Jungle Walk
Trained naturalists will take you into the forest and grasslands and along the river banks to view wild species of animals, birds, flora and fauna.
Ox-Cart Ride 
Alternatively, we have an oxcart that will give you an experience of the unique mode of transport while riding on the old dirt road of the nearby Tharu village.
Jungle Drive
A thrilling tour in a four wheel jeep drive into the heart of the park will enable you to view some of the rarest species of animals, birds. For you can also take a visit to the Observation Tower for viewing the enchanting movements of the animals in the wildness. The jeep can be diverted to visit to crocodile breeding farm as well.
Village Sightseeing
Visits to local villages to experience the very unique life of the indigenous people of the Tarai area, known as Tharus.
Tharu Folk Dance
You will enjoy the drum beats and the agile breathtaking stick dance performed by the Tharus. their rhythmic movements and the exciting drum beats may urge you to join in their performance.
Bird Watching
The park is well known as a paradise for the birds. Some 450 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded so far. You may encounter to many of them, while making this tour.
